3000 Aluminium alloys are known for their excellent corrosion resistance and moderate strength, making them suitable for various applications. Electrical wiring and busbars, Structural components in power plants, and Components for renewable energy systems like wind turbines and solar panels.
3000 series aluminium alloys primarily consist of aluminium and manganese, with the following typical chemical composition: (Al): 96.8% to 99%, (Mn): 1.0% to 1.5%, (Cu): 0.05% to 0.20%, (Fe): Maximum 0.7%, (Si): Maximum 0.6%, (Zn): Maximum 0.1%, and Residuals: Maximum 0.15%.
